By contrast, there are some 22 countries where e-bikes are classified as mopeds and are not allowed in bike lanes. In Canada, E bikes are allowed in bike lanes as long as they don’t exceed 32km and do not have an output that is above 500W.

An electric motorbike’s travel time mostly depends on its type and battery. With most electric bikes, the amount of pedal assistance that the rider gives greatly affects the battery life. Road conditions and the weight being carried also determine how long the battery will last.
The average distance on a single charge is 25-45 km, but on some higher end models, it can exceed 60 kms.
The important point to consider is that most people use electric motorbikes for commuting to work, errands and leisure which are all activities that fall under the minimum distance of a bike of 25km. Therefore, there should not have the fear of running out of battery during your trip.
6. How is the battery charged and when does it need to be replaced?
To charge your electric motorbike battery, you’ll need to remove it and plug it into a regular socket for 3-5 hours. The battery life of your e-bike can be extended by keeping it in a cool, dry environment while charging it or keeping it in a storage place when not in use.
